Make an impact supporting students’ communication skills in a dynamic school setting near Grayson, KY. This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role offers the opportunity to manage a full caseload, working primarily with preschool-aged children with some responsibilities at the elementary level.
As an integral member of the educational team, you’ll focus on providing essential speech and language services to students in both preschool and elementary environments. The workday runs Monday through Friday, aligning with school hours of 8:00am-2:00pm. Services with preschoolers are mainly scheduled for the morning, prior to nap time, with the flexibility to serve elementary students in the afternoon.
Qualifications we look for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or eligible for state SLP licensure
- Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Commitment to engaging and effective treatment of a diverse student population
What you’ll do:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within the school setting
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents for the best student outcomes
- Document sessions, monitor progress, and provide timely updates
- Travel between preschool and elementary locations as caseload demands
