Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with middle and high school students, is highly valued
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Able to work onsite for the duration of the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades 6-12
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and monitor progress toward established goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and ensure compliance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and school-related activities as needed
