Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with middle and high school students, is highly valued
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Able to work onsite for the duration of the assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades 6-12
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
  • Conduct assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and monitor progress toward established goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and ensure compliance with school policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and school-related activities as needed
