What you’ll bring:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and student support services
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt assessment and therapy techniques to a wide range of student needs
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluate students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop and implement individualized speech/language therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and caregivers to facilitate student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist in IEP development, meetings, and goal setting
- Provide both direct and consultative services, adjusting support as students’ needs change
- Serve as a resource for school personnel, sharing expertise on communication and language strategies in the classroom
