Key qualifications and skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP licensure for the state of Wisconsin
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
- Prior experience in a school environment is beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Deliver direct therapy services tailored to student needs, both individually and in groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals in the classroom
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and related reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to assist in student success
