Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
  • Previous experience in school settings is an asset, but not required
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to create individualized treatment plans and adapt interventions as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop targeted treatment plans for students with various speech, language, and communication needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in group sessions
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support students’ IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate records and document student progress in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations
  • Foster an encouraging and supportive environment to help every student reach their full potential
