Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Prior experience working with children or school-aged populations is preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of working efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech, language, or communication disorders
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support measurable progress
- Deliver engaging, effective therapy sessions addressing a range of speech and language goals
- Keep detailed documentation of student progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Work in close collaboration with teachers, staff, and other specialists to coordinate services
- Partner with families, providing guidance and engaging them in the therapy process
