Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students with communication needs. This position covers a caseload of approximately 50 students, offering vital services during the academic assignment from January 4th to May 24th. Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure
  • Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Positive, collaborative approach to working with educators and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals in the classroom
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations as needed
  • Guide and support SLPA’s and potentially delegate responsibilities as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in meetings and provide updates to families and educational teams
