This assignment gives you the unique opportunity to expand your resume while working with a caseload of around 50 students. You’ll collaborate with supportive educators and administrative teams, broadening your clinical practice through exposure to diverse workplace practices and leadership approaches. By the end of your term, you’ll have grown both professionally and personally—making you a more versatile and experienced clinician.
Qualifications or Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Valid state licensure or eligibility in Tennessee
- Experience in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload of around 50 students
- Open to both part-time and full-time candidates; SLPAs are welcome to apply
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide services from January 4th through May 24th, averaging 35 hours per week
