This contract role focuses on evaluation, treatment, and collaboration with education teams to help students reach their full potential. Individuals with a background in speech-language pathology—either as an SLP, SLP-CCC, SLPA, or those experienced in school and healthcare settings—are encouraged to apply and bring specialized skills to a pediatric caseload.
Skills and Experience Sought:
- Active or pending state SLP license required
- SLP-CCC designation strongly preferred, though SLP-CF candidates are welcome
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in educational or healthcare settings
- SLPA candidates considered for roles supporting SLPs
- Proficiency in working with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable performing evaluations, developing IEP goals, and delivering direct therapy
- Familiarity with school documentation and reporting requirements
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop customized treatment plans targeting student-specific needs
- Deliver therapy services—both direct and indirect—to meet IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success
- Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt intervention techniques to best support individual learning styles
- Adhere to all compliance, documentation, and reporting procedures as required
