Step into an impactful role supporting students with communication needs as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. This position centers on providing supervisory expertise and essential SLP services within a school environment near Greenfield, IN.

You’ll be partnering with an SLP assistant, offering crucial oversight one day per week onsite. On your in-person day, you’ll lead student evaluations, conduct all required testing, and facilitate IEP meetings to ensure each student’s unique needs are addressed and documented thoroughly. Your clinical knowledge and guiding presence will help both students and staff thrive throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Eligible for Indiana licensure
  • Experience with pediatric or school-based populations is highly valued
  • Previous supervision of SLP assistants is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor an SLP assistant, providing direction and expertise in best practices
  • Perform comprehensive onsite assessments and student testing on your scheduled day
  • Attend and facilitate IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to ongoing communication with staff and families
  • Ensure compliance with both district and state regulations regarding speech-language pathology services
