Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Active or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings highly valued
- Confidence in assessment, development, and implementation of IEPs for elementary students
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working closely with teachers, families, and support staff
- Knowledge of teletherapy a plus, but primary assignment is onsite
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students with communication, speech, and language disorders within an elementary school caseload
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide both direct and consultative therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students’ progress
- Document student progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Advocate for accessible communication opportunities within the school environment
- Maintain professional ethics and adhere to state and district regulations
