Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ready to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and track progress
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student goals
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of services, progress, and compliance with all relevant guidelines
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families to ensure comprehensive care
