Qualifications & Experience Needed:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for those with speech and language disorders
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to set and review student goals
- Provide both one-on-one and group intervention sessions
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
