Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Hold or be eligible for state licensure as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly within school or educational settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital documentation
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs using standardized assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings, both on site and virtually
- Monitor and document students’ progress toward their goals, and regularly update records
- Educate families and school personnel about strategies that support communication development
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development activities
