Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Kentucky SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience providing therapy in school settings preferred
  • Thorough understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Teletherapy experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students of varying ages
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals
  • Deliver therapy sessions—either on-site or through virtual platforms as needed
  • Maintain accurate session notes and progress documentation
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt approaches to meet students’ diverse learning needs
