Desired Skills and Background:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience delivering speech-language therapy in school or pediatric settings
- Proficiency in assessing and treating a range of communication disorders: articulation, fluency, language, and voice
- Strong documentation and organizational abilities, familiar with regulatory compliance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, addressing diverse communication challenges
- Conduct routine screenings and comprehensive evaluations to identify student needs
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans in partnership with educators and parents
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress consistent with state and district guidelines
- Engage with teams in IEP meetings, contributing to goal development and progress reviews
- Maintain an active caseload, ensuring high-quality and timely therapy delivery
- Foster a positive, inclusive school environment by collaborating with staff and supporting student success
