Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in South Carolina
• Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students with a wide range of communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and voice.
• Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments to identify student needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, partnering with educators and families to ensure optimal student progress.
• Document student progress, maintain records, and submit reports in accordance with state and district guidelines.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, and administrators to promote an inclusive learning environment.
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the creation of supportive goals and objectives.
• Manage a caseload and deliver therapy services in a timely, effective manner.
