Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and growth in a vibrant K-8 educational setting. This on-site position offers a part-time schedule, approximately 20-25 hours per week, from 8:30am to 1:30pm, four days weekly. Planning and meeting time are integrated into your workday to help you provide the highest quality of services. The caseload consists primarily of students in grades K-5, with a total caseload of 25-30, predominantly mild with one or two moderate cases.

Candidates should bring expertise and passion for collaboration, demonstrating a commitment to fostering students’ speech and language skills within the school environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid and current South Carolina SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Recent experience providing speech services in school settings
  • Strong skills in completing speech/language evaluations and participating in IEP processes
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school atmosphere
  • On-site only; this position does not accept virtual providers, SLP-CFs, or SLPAs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K-8 students, with a primary focus on K-5
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help develop individualized plans to support students’ progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings and professional development as required
