Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC credential required
- Current state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in an elementary school setting strongly preferred
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs and providing both individual and group therapy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for working with children from diverse backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations for elementary students
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to optimize communication outcomes
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
- Offer resources, guidance, and support to families to encourage progress at home and in the classroom
