Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication objectives
- Delivering evidence-based therapy in individual and group sessions
- Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
- Tracking and reporting student performance and progress toward goals
- Participating in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and professional development opportunities
- Adhering to all state, federal, and school regulations and requirements
