Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication objectives
  • Delivering evidence-based therapy in individual and group sessions
  • Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student progress
  • Tracking and reporting student performance and progress toward goals
  • Participating in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and professional development opportunities
  • Adhering to all state, federal, and school regulations and requirements
