Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Indiana SLP license required
- ASHA CCC certification necessary
- At least one year of previous school-based experience
- Proficiency with Medicaid billing processes
- Strong evaluation and therapeutic intervention skills, especially with preschool populations
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for preschool students
- Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and timely Medicaid billing records in compliance with state guidelines
- Develop and implement IEPs in close partnership with educators and families
- Track student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff on language development and support strategies
