Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure required, including Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong background conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other SLPs and educational team members
  • Comfort supporting nonverbal and life skills students is valuable
  • Proven commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practices

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evaluation-focused speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 50–70 students
  • Conduct assessments, interpret results, and communicate findings to educational teams and families
  • Work closely with another school-based SLP, particularly supporting students with significant communication and daily living needs
  • Develop individualized service recommendations and contribute to IEP planning
  • Maintain timely and accurate records consistent with district and professional standards
