Step into a dynamic elementary school environment as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, working full time for the full school year. This onsite opportunity allows you to collaborate with dedicated educators and staff to support students’ growth and communication skills in a warm, engaging setting.

Your role centers on providing high-quality speech and language services to a diverse caseload of elementary-aged students. You’ll have the chance to work closely with families and school teams, crafting individualized approaches that make a real difference in students’ everyday lives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Possession of, or eligibility for, SLP licensure and certification (CCC-SLP or CFY welcome)
  • Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP settings
  • Skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation for elementary-aged students
  • Comfort with creating IEPs and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
  • Teletherapy skills valued, but this role requires onsite presence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech, language, and communication therapy within elementary school settings
  • Develop, implement, and review IEPs and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Engage with students individually and in small groups, adapting interventions to meet diverse needs
  • Partner with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure holistic student success
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed
