Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP - CCC certification required
  • Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain before start date)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged students preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, individualized treatment planning, and progress monitoring
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration with multidisciplinary school teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to middle and high school students
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and contribute to eligibility determinations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to generalize strategies and support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
