Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP - CCC certification required
- Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Previous experience working with school-aged students preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, individualized treatment planning, and progress monitoring
- Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration with multidisciplinary school teams
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to middle and high school students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to generalize strategies and support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
