Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with elementary school students is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments for elementary students as needed
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs
- Deliver therapy sessions in both group and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress
- Document goals, progress reports, and therapy notes in accordance with district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans
