- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY qualifications required
- Prior experience in an educational, pediatric, or clinical setting preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with IEP development, evaluations, and special education processes
- Experience or understanding of Medicaid billing
- Organizational skills and a collaborative, team-based approach
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a K-4th grade caseload at one school site
- Writing and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Conducting speech and language assessments and preparing detailed reports
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Providing direct therapy and support to students to promote educational and communication success
- Completing necessary documentation, including Medicaid billing paperwork
