Make an impact supporting students with speech and language needs in a vibrant educational environment. This full-time, contract opportunity offers an engaging schedule of four days per week, providing a valuable work-life balance while helping students thrive. Two positions are available, including one that welcomes experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). Caseloads include secondary education and a mixed itinerant assignment, offering variety and professional growth.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible
- Experience in school settings highly preferred; pediatric or healthcare experience a plus
- Comfort with both in-person and teletherapy service delivery
- Open to experienced SLPAs for one of the roles
- Familiarity with secondary education/student populations and/or mixed caseloads
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders with evidence-based approaches
- Provide therapy for students in secondary educational settings and/or across multiple sites per caseload needs
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to best support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and timely reporting
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed for student services
This role begins July 17th, 2026, running the length of a 190-day school contract. Compensation is competitive, with rates ranging from $40-50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
