Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving secondary education students as a Speech-Language Pathologist! Located near the vibrant community of Greenwood, SC, this full-time role invites enthusiastic, licensed SLPs to cultivate communication success for students in grades 6-12. Work a flexible four-day week across a dynamic caseload, with the academic year running from July 17th, 2026, through a 190-day contract.

Two engaging assignments are available: one focused on a secondary education caseload within a single school, and the other offering a mixed itinerant experience supporting multiple campuses. Each day brings the chance to collaborate with supportive educators and make a meaningful difference in student outcomes.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid SLP licensure (or eligibility) in South Carolina
  • Experience with high school and/or middle school populations preferred
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads, including itinerant settings
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Passion for inclusive education and collaborative practice

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in secondary grades and/or multiple school sites
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments to determine speech and language needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families
  • Maintain thorough records and progress notes in compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Contribute to the creation of positive, engaging learning environments
