Certified Middle School Speech Language Pathologist in Greenwood, SC

You’ll be supporting two distinct caseloads: one focused exclusively on secondary education, and the other providing services in a mixed itinerant capacity across multiple school sites. Your skills and expertise will directly impact students who need intervention, therapy, and advocacy, working alongside dedicated educators and multidisciplinary teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active SLP licensure and certification for school-based practice
• Previous experience working with high school and/or middle school (secondary) students
• Ability to manage both focused and itinerant caseloads efficiently
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Enthusiasm for fostering growth in students from diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a range of needs
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement IEPs in collaboration with school staff
• Travel between assigned schools for mixed itinerant caseload as needed
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and legal standards
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support strategies
• Offer consultation and training to teachers and families to support student success
