We are seeking three dedicated, full-time speech-language pathologists (SLPs) for school-based contract roles during the 2026-2027 academic year. Openings include working with medically fragile students at a self-contained school, or supporting elementary and virtual learners—assignments may be matched based on your experience and preference.

What You’ll Need:

  • Active South Carolina SLP License and SC Educator Certification
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required; SLP Clinical Fellows may be considered
  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, particularly for the Washington Center role
  • Compassionate approach to students and families, and strong collaboration skills

Role Details & Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with diverse communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Engage and collaborate with families, teachers, and other school SLPs
  • Assignments include:
    • Serving medically fragile students (ages 3-21) at a dedicated center with robust support and resources
    • Supporting elementary school students at two partnered schools
    • Working across an elementary campus, Greenville’s virtual academy, and one additional site
  • Participate in pre- and post-planning days, system training, and SLP mentoring programs
