Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on clinical competencies
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with IEPs and the evaluation process
Location:
- Gresham, OR
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with established goals
- Monitor and document student progress through regular evaluations
- Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to support students’ overall communication development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
