This full-time, onsite position runs from August 7, 2026, through May 27, 2027, aligning with the academic calendar. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll contribute valuable expertise to students’ growth and communication development.
Preferred candidates bring strong clinical skills, a genuine passion for working with school-aged children, and adaptability to manage varying caseloads. While specific school assignments and age groups will be finalized prior to placement, your setting will be determined to best match your experience and interests.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) in Louisiana
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Ability to undergo and pass required drug screening and fingerprinting per district policy
- Demonstrated skill in school-based or pediatric SLP settings is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in accordance with student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to design effective interventions
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports as required by the district
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to student support teams
