This is a contract assignment ideal for professionals looking to provide essential speech and language therapy services during a maternity leave period from September 14th through November 30th (following Thanksgiving break).

You will be onsite, collaborating with faculty and staff at an elementary school and serving a diverse caseload of 50-60 students. This opportunity is open to both seasoned SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as Clinical Fellows (CF), offering a dynamic environment to grow and refine your skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license in Louisiana
  • SLP-CCC preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are welcome
  • Experience or interest in school-based settings
  • Ability to work onsite full time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain documentation
  • Consult with teachers, families, and staff to support student IEP goals
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere focused on student progress
