School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Gridley, California

In this full-time, contract position, you’ll work on a 160-170 day assignment, serving a single elementary site with a manageable caseload of 40-45 students spanning from transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. Your skills will support young learners as they develop essential communication skills that set the foundation for lifelong success.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California
• Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with educators, staff, and families
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all students

Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for a diverse caseload of TK-5 elementary students
• Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate therapy into the classroom
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in student support and multidisciplinary team meetings
