Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Hold or be eligible for state licensure or certification as required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but open to strong Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Prior experience working with students in a school-based setting beneficial
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals
- Passion for helping children overcome speech and language barriers
- Effective communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, in accordance with established targets
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings within interdisciplinary teams
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, student consultations, and professional development sessions
