Take the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 academic year. Working with K–12 learners, you’ll deliver essential services to a manageable caseload of approximately 35 students. The contract role begins in September and runs through June, offering a chance to work alongside a passionate school community near Groton, NY. What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments, developing individualized therapy plans
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and specialists to implement appropriate accommodations and modifications
  • Track, report, and adjust interventions based on student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, helping shape student goals and ensuring compliance with educational mandates
  • Offer support, resources, and guidance to families and caregivers

What We’re Looking For:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid or eligible state SLP license
  • Familiarity with K–12 student populations (experience in schools strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency with IEPs and understanding educational laws and best practices
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and success
