As a Speech-Language Pathologist contracted to serve a school community, you’ll collaborate with educators and families, helping students achieve meaningful goals in communication and language development.
What you bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are welcomed
- Experience providing services in a school-based setting highly desired
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and collaborating in a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to motivate, engage, and inspire students from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational and communication skills
What you’ll do:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students as needed
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals as part of IEP teams
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy sessions (individual and group)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Participate in eligibility, annual, and progress meetings, sharing updates and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Offer consultation and support to staff regarding communication strategies in the classroom
