School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Groton, New York

This opportunity focuses on delivering speech-language services to a diverse caseload of approximately 28 students, predominantly at the elementary level, with occasional involvement with high school students. You’ll work alongside dedicated educators and families, playing a key part in each student’s journey toward academic and personal growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conduct thorough speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy sessions tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement accommodations and modifications in the classroom
• Track student progress consistently and make data-driven adjustments to interventions
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing purposeful recommendations and setting meaningful goals
• Offer guidance and resources to families, empowering them to support carryover at home

What You’ll Need:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid or eligible state SLP license
• Experience working with K-12 or school-aged students is preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of the IEP process and special education laws/regulations
