A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide specialized support in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is designated to cover a leave of absence, offering an essential role in maintaining continuity of care and support for students with speech and language needs.

Located in Grove City, OH, this position requires a dedicated professional skilled in addressing the diverse communication needs of school-aged children. The role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that enhance students' communication abilities and support their academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans for students K-12.
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate communication strategies into the classroom.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and therapy goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure for Ohio.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Experience working with children from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet diverse student needs.
