Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Grove City, OH

Make a real impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-8 students on a contract basis for the remainder of the school year. Collaborate with a caring, multidisciplinary team and help 18 students reach their full potential through targeted intervention. With a manageable caseload and a part-time, flexible schedule capped at 20 hours per week, you’ll have the opportunity to focus on meaningful, high-quality service delivery.

Your expertise in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology will shine as you provide direct and consultative services, track student progress, and communicate with families and teachers. The role covers a total of 2,700 service minutes per quarter, so you’ll enjoy a focused scope and dedicated time with your students.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP license and active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Prior experience with K-8 or pediatric caseloads, preferably in healthcare or school settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven documentation
• Effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Approachable, compassionate demeanor and strong communication skills

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-8 students in alignment with IEP goals
• Maintain accurate service logs and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all regulations
• Partner with educators and families to support carryover of skills and individual student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and team consultations as needed
• Adapt interventions to be developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive
