An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to support junior high school students on an onsite contract basis covering a maternity leave. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through October 6, 2026, offering a chance to make a meaningful difference during a formative time for these students.
This full-time position involves serving a dedicated junior high caseload in a dynamic school environment, helping students improve communication skills and thrive academically.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Ohio SLP-CCC licensure required
- Previous experience providing speech therapy in school settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working onsite with junior high age learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students according to IEP requirements
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
- Maintain clear, timely documentation of services and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that empowers junior high students
