We are seeking a contract-based, onsite SLP to work with mild to moderate students across two locations, providing critical support to young learners throughout the full school year. Whether you are an experienced SLP-CCC or a Clinical Fellow (CF), this opportunity welcomes your dedication and skill. Clinical Fellows will receive professional supervision as required.
The position involves working three days at one school and two days at a second site, allowing for a dynamic and varied weekly routine. You’ll serve a caseload of approximately 55 elementary students, collaborating with educational teams and making a direct impact in the school community. No SLPA support is required, offering autonomy and the opportunity to tailor your approach to student needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Current (or eligibility for) state licensure in California
- Experience with school-age populations, ideally elementary-aged students
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting students with mild to moderate language and communication needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students according to IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and write reports for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to deliver comprehensive support
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop individualized treatment plans
- Travel between two school locations (three days at one, two at the other)
