As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll play a vital role in shaping communication skills for children, working closely with a dedicated educational team. This position is located near Groveton, NH and involves both direct instruction and mentorship.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience in a pediatric and/or school environment preferred
  • Ability to supervise and support SLP Assistants (SLPAs)
  • Strong skills in conducting evaluations and preparing reports
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations, documenting findings accurately
  • Oversee and mentor two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, providing guidance and feedback
  • Foster a nurturing learning atmosphere, adapting activities to diverse student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning interdisciplinary supports
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and progress notes
  • Collaborate with parents and school staff to support student growth
