Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Georgia SLP License and/or Educator Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCCs) strongly preferred
- Experience in K-12 school-based settings is a plus
- Skilled in conducting thorough student evaluations and contributing to IEP processes
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication abilities
- Availability for a full 37.5-hour work week during the school year
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, supporting both individual and group needs
- Conduct, interpret, and document speech/language evaluations, collaborating in IEP meetings and helping guide educational programming
- Develop individualized treatment plans and facilitate ongoing therapy sessions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and caregivers to ensure student progress and compliance with school and state guidelines
- Maintain detailed records and documentation as required by district and state standards
This is an onsite position, but candidates interested in virtual roles may be considered if the onsite support position is filled. The caseload will be determined prior to placement, and all roles are set within an encouraging, resourceful district environment.
