Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Comfortable working with diverse age groups, including elementary and high school students
- Open to new graduates; mentorship provided for clinical fellows
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions to students both individually and in group settings
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and document student performance and progress
- Contribute to IEP meetings and assist with the development of goals and supports
- Help foster a supportive, communicative classroom environment
