Desired Skills and Credentials:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school environments

  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices for remote interventions

  • Confidence assessing and addressing a wide range of disorders and disabilities

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills   Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to middle school students in a self-contained classroom

  • Screen, evaluate, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs

  • Provide therapy addressing articulation, fluency, voice, language, and pragmatic/social communication disorders

  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to design and implement effective interventions

  • Maintain accurate records and document student progress in compliance with school and state requirements
