Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication development at an intermediate school near Gulf Breeze, FL. This full-time contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through May 28th. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLP-CCC will help empower students to succeed in their academic and social environments; applicants with SLPA credentials will also be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
  • Valid state SLP or SLP-CCC license (or eligibility); SLPA credentials considered
  • School-based experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and data collection
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working collaboratively with staff and families
  • Ability to independently manage a caseload and provide both direct and consultative services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students in an intermediate school setting
  • Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement targeted treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Document progress and maintain comprehensive records according to school and legal standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, supporting students' ongoing progress and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Consult with educators and families to maximize student support and generalization of skills
