Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Proven experience or strong interest in a school setting
- Experience assessing, diagnosing, and delivering interventions for children with communication needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Dedication to providing services in person, with a commitment to supporting student achievement
Responsibilities in this role include:
- Conducting thorough assessments and providing individualized speech-language therapy to students
- Developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
- Collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers for holistic student support
- Maintaining comprehensive and timely student records and progress reports
- Participating in IEP meetings and parent conferences as part of an interdisciplinary team
