Speech Language Pathologist in Gurnee, IL

Key Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Proven experience or strong interest in a school setting
• Experience assessing, diagnosing, and delivering interventions for children with communication needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Dedication to providing services in person, with a commitment to supporting student achievement

Responsibilities in this role include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and providing individualized speech-language therapy to students
• Developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs)
• Collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers for holistic student support
• Maintaining comprehensive and timely student records and progress reports
• Participating in IEP meetings and parent conferences as part of an interdisciplinary team
