Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized care plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for a variety of communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
- Offer guidance and support to students, their families, and educational staff
