This contracted position is ideal for those passionate about supporting young learners’ communication skills on-site near Plainview, Texas—just a short drive from the West NM border.
Work directly with early childhood through first-grade students on a single campus, addressing a spectrum of needs such as articulation, language, and pragmatic skills. No AAC cases are part of this caseload, and Clinical Fellowship supervision is readily available, making this an excellent setting for new graduates or seasoned professionals seeking a collaborative environment.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA in Texas
- SLPs with CCC, CFY-seeking candidates, and SLPAs considered
- Experience or strong interest in working with early childhood and elementary populations
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional growth
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy for ECSE through 1st-grade students on-site
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP or eligibility meetings as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Engage in campus-based activities and training as appropriate to support student achievement
