Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving students in a dynamic school-based setting. This full-time position begins on July 27, 2026, and concludes on June 4, 2027, offering you a rewarding experience throughout the academic year. You’ll work a 37.5-hour week, collaborating with educational teams to support student communication needs through evaluation, intervention, and consultation.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
  • Valid G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction is essential
  • License from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists may be accepted
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete screenings, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
  • Advise teachers, administrators, and families on intervention strategies
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Oversee planning and deliver evidence-based instructional sessions
  • Document progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with district and state policies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes for students
