You’ll work a 37.5-hour week, collaborating with educational teams to support student communication needs through evaluation, intervention, and consultation.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Valid G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction is essential
- License from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists may be accepted
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete screenings, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
- Advise teachers, administrators, and families on intervention strategies
- Provide direct speech-language therapy and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Oversee planning and deliver evidence-based instructional sessions
- Document progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with district and state policies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes for students
