Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing impactful support to young learners. This full-time position offers a balanced schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week and involves working in two dynamic educational environments: a special education preschool and an elementary school. Shape the lives of students by helping them develop essential communication skills and contribute to their academic journeys.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech and language therapy services to preschool and elementary school students in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and documenting speech and language disorders
  • Developing individualized treatment plans to address unique student needs
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records of assessments, sessions, and progress reports
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Adhering to all district, state, and federal regulations governing speech therapy services

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Valid SLP license, with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working with both preschool and elementary-aged children
  • Ability to manage a split caseload across multiple sites
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment
